The ferry service to Hobsonville Point is now running on the weekends, just in time for summer.

The extended ferry service will commence on Saturday 26 January and will run from 8 am onwards on both Saturdays and Sundays.

The weekday ferry service will resume as usual. So make a day of it and enjoy the best of what Hobsonville Point has to offer.

  • Can I catch public transport to the downtown ferry terminal?

    You can catch a bus or a train to the downtown ferry terminal. To access the bus and train schedules, click here or download the AT mobile App from the Apple store or Google Play. Printed maps and timetables are available at main stations and terminals.

  • How much do the ferry services cost to Hobsonville Point?

  • How do I pay the ferry fare ?

    You can pay your fare using your AT HOP card and save up to 25% off your fare. Simply tag on and off the ferry when you're at the pier of the ferry terminal or at the entry gates. You can also use cash or card to purchase single-trip paper tickets, monthly passes, and multi-trip tickets. Purchase your tickets and passes using the ticket machines or Customer Service Centre at the downtown ferry terminal, or directly from Fullers staff on board the ferry at the Beach Haven and Hobsonville Point.

  • Where can I get an AT HOP card?

    You can purchase an AT HOP card online or in person at participating retailers. For the full list of retailers, click here. AT HOP cards are also available at Hobsonville FourSquare.

  • What time do I need to be at the wharf?

    To check scheduled arrival times, download the mobile app or use the Real Time Board on the Auckland Transport website to check for any cancellations.

  • Can I take a dog on the ferry?

    Dogs can be taken on ferries but must remain on the outdoor deck areas. Guide dogs are permitted inside the ferry.

  • Can I bring my bike, pram, wheelchair or guide dog onto the ferry?

    Bikes travel free with any fare-paying passenger, subject to available space. Where vessels are equipped with bike racks or hooks, using these storage options reduces the risk of your bike falling and causing damage or injury. If these storage options are not available, please ensure you position your bike safely and out of the way of other passengers. Prams, wheelchairs and guide dogs are allowed on all ferries.

  • Can I board and disembark the ferry from Beach Haven Wharf?

    Yes, the ferry to and from Hobsonville Point goes via Beach Haven. Please note that if you would like to disembark at Beach Haven from Hobsonville Point, please advise Fullers staff when boarding the ferry.
