High quality education, from 0-18

Hobsonville Point School and Hobsonville Point Secondary School work together to create an easy transition for students moving from primary to secondary education. Children growing up at the Point are likely to spend less time in cars (or on the school bus) and make friends in their own community. Hobsonville Point also has a new Early Learning Centre and a Bear Park daycare.

Spend more time with the kids (and less time mowing the lawn)

Hobsonville Point’s neighbourhoods have smaller backyards than many Auckland suburbs. This is by design, to ensure it’s an easy walk to everything. ‘Hobby Pointers’ use the wild open parks, 5km coastal walkway, award-winning playgrounds and shared community spaces, and say they enjoy having the weekends to spend with the kids rather than maintaining their property.

Bring the whole family

Dogs are part of the family too, and they definitely get the ‘paws up’ at Hobsonville Point. It’s a great home for dogs, who enjoy long rambling walks with their humans along coastal and bush trails. There’s also a fenced dog park for dedicated off-leash doggy exercise. Dogs are welcome residents at the Uku apartments, and Catalina Bay Farmers market is so dog-friendly that it hosts a popular annual event, ‘Dog Days at Catalina Bay’.
