A friendly heads up for local commuters - from Sunday 8th May 2022 Auckland Transport buses servicing Catalina Bay will be in a new location at the end of Launch Road. This temporary bus stop change has been put in place while construction continues at Catalina Bay.
AT and the Hobsonville Point Development team are working together to reduce disruptions for bus users and pedestrians with a range of measures to make the new bus stop accessible, comfortable and user friendly.
The temporary Launch Road bus stop will offer easy accessibility access, clear wayfinding signage so commuters and pedestrians can take a short stroll along the waterfront to the ferry terminal, comfortable wind and rain shelter, plus safe night lighting. A pick up and drop off area, and disability parking, will remain available within the precinct.
