Catalina precinct is situated in the north east of the peninsula eastern, and is bordered by the amazing 11ha wilderness park which is Bomb Point (Onekiritea). A central tree-lined avenue will run, west-to-east, through the heart of Catalina precinct, from Hobsonville Point Road to Bomb Point and the harbour. The precinct comprises 31ha including Bomb Point and the neighbourhood will include a mix of apartments, terraces and stand alone houses; a total of 450 homes.

Catalina precinct’s overarching characteristic is ‘green,’ with more than two thirds of the land’s perimeter bounded by open space. The avenue will be lined with homes and apartments, lending it the vibrancy more sparsely populated suburban streets often lack.
