Hobsonville Point really got into the ‘swing’ of summer recently, with a fabulous festive event held in Catalina Bay.
Jazz by the Bay was a fun-filled afternoon featuring delicious street food, games and entertainment, set to a soundtrack of smooth jazz by talented musicians LUNA music and Quantum Blue.
Fifty round-trip ferry tickets to Hobsonville Point were given away for the event, and it was wonderful to see so many visitors enjoying the beautiful ferry ride in from the CBD.
Hosted by Willis Bond and the Hobsonville Point development by Kāinga Ora, Jazz by the Bay was part of the Sun Series calendar of events held down on the Catalina Bay waterfront through October this year to March 2023. There are five events remaining on the calendar, including sunrise yoga and a 5km waterfront run and wellness day. This year we’re also excited to announce the first ever annual fiafia festival, Pasifika on the Point, which will be held on Auckland Anniversary, 29th January 2023. Check out all the details here.
